Welcome to our latest GUAC members

Give us a Chance welcomes two new members today – Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) and Plus Dane.

By joining GUAC, NCHA and Plus Dane have become part of the largest network of housing organisations – and their supporters – who provide employment and training support to residents in need, across England and Wales.

Together our members already provide homes and services to over 2 million residents, and our newest members help to further strengthen GUAC’s presence across England and Wales; NCHA owns & manages over 9,200 homes and house more than 20,000 tenants across the East Midlands in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland. North West based housing association Plus Dane manages over 13,000 homes in ownership across Merseyside and Cheshire, and supports thousands of people with multiple and complex needs across the Liverpool region, through their Big Lottery funded project, Liverpool Waves of Hope.

Chair of GUAC, Jayne Entwistle said: “I’m delighted to welcome our newest members to Give us a Chance. Both housing organisations have a clear commitment to employment support for their residents, which shows just how well-placed housing providers are when it comes to helping people into work.”
