UK Shared Prosperity Fund – a letter to the Prime Minister
Last month, GUAC joined a group of organisations from the housing and employment support industries and signed a letter to the new Prime Minister, urging him to clarify the plans for the proposed UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
Leaders from 100 charities and businesses were led by our partner, the Employment Related Services Association (ERSA) as well as the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO).
The letter urged the PM to ensure that the UKSPF will deliver at least the same level of impact that European Social Funding has done and that there will be no funding gap between the ESF and the UKSPF.
The list of organisations that signed the letter includes the NHF, a number of large housing associations, local authorities and employment support organisations.
