Six Town Housing Join Give us a Chance

GUAC are delighted to introduce a new member, Six Town Housing.

Six Town Housing is an Arms-length Management Organisation (ALMO) that manages and owns around 8,000 homes in the Bury area.

Six Town Housing don’t just deliver much-needed affordable homes but also provide tenant employment programme, invest in communities and improve the quality of neighbourhoods they work with.

Sharon McCambridge, Chief Executive at Six Town Housing, said, “We are delighted to be the latest social housing service provider to join Give us a Chance. Employment related services have always been the core of our agenda and we provide a valuable tenant employment programme called Steps To Success which has helped over 2,500 tenants into apprenticeships, placements, training and employment since it launched in 2015. Through Give us a Chance’s influence and network, we will be able to strengthen our employment support even further.”

GUAC’s Managing Director, Lynsey Sweeney said: “We are thrilled to welcome Six Town Housing to Give us a Chance. Six Town Housing is already actively involved in supporting their tenants into accessing rewarding employment. We look forward to working with them and continue to have active dialogues with a range of stakeholders.”
