Learning and Work Institute’s Event and Report
The Learning and Work Institute’s (LWI) Employment and Skills Convention 2019 will take place in London on 10 July. Our MD Lynsey Sweeney is speaking at the breakfast plenary on the day, so come over and say Hello with a coffee.
The convention will welcome Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Rt Hon Amber Rudd MP, and Shadow Secretary of State for Education, Angela Rayner MP, who will both be delivering keynote speeches at the event.
Don’t forget, GUAC members get a special discount. Visit here for more information.
LWI have also just published the European Social Fund (ESF) In-Work Progression Final Report. The report presents findings from the evaluation of the ESF In-Work Progression Programme, which aimed to support low paid workers to progress through the provision of a tailored package of support such as personalised advice, coaching and skill support.
