Give us a Chance welcomes new members and associate members

Give us a Chance welcomes three new supporters to the consortium – new members Red Kite and Yorkshire Housing, and new associate members Red Cape Partners, and APM.

By joining GUAC, the new members and associate members have become part of the largest network of housing organisations – and their supporters – who provide employment and training support to residents in need.

Together, our members already provide homes and services to over 1million residents across England and Wales. Our newest members help to further strengthen GUAC’s presence across England and Wales; Wycombe District based housing association Red Kite, own or manage nearly 7,000 homes, whilst new members Yorkshire Housing provide more than 18,000 affordable homes throughout Yorkshire.

The new associate members also highlights the increasing support for the work that our members do, from the wider employment sector. APM is an international employment and training business with more than 1,200 staff at 400 sites in UK, Australia & New Zealand. Day to day, APM helps people to return to work, no matter what their circumstances. Joining them as new associate members is Red Cape Partners, a specialist marketing, communications and performance solutions provider for public service providers across the UK.

Speaking of the latest news, Chair of GUAC, Ian Simpson said: “I’m delighted to welcome our newest members and associate members to Give us a Chance. Both housing organisations, Red Kite and Yorkshire Housing, have a clear commitment to employment support for their residents, which shows just how well placed housing providers are when it comes to helping people into work.”
