Department for Communities and Local Government Seeks GUAC Members’ Advice

Last month GUAC members from across the Capital were asked to attend a high level meeting with DCLG officials. The purpose of the meeting was to seek GUAC members’ advice about what really works for customers when it comes to helping people move off benefits and into work.

DCLG are particularly concerned about demonstrating value for money. This means measuring the social and financial benefit of supporting residents into employment – not just the benefit for individuals but also the social landlord.

GUAC members will be providing further advice and information to DCLG.
