Your Housing Group joins GUAC
Your Housing Group, based in Warrington is the latest housing association to join GUAC.
The group, which formed in 2012 following the merger of Harvest Housing Group and Arena Housing Group looks after 34,000 properties across the North-West, Yorkshire and Midlands and aims to delivery more than 14000 affordable homes during the next three years.
The organisation also provides Extra Care homes for people who need additional support as well as sheltered and supported accommodation.
Your Housing has a focus on employment and skills and provides support to help customers find training opportunities and search for work which includes working in schools in Merseyside with fellow housing associate Liverpool Mutual Homes.
Louise Harris, Director of Community Sustainability and Regeneration described what she was looking forward to from the new partnership; “…sharing best practice and working together (with GUAC) to develop employment and skills programmes and models that will make the biggest difference for our residents lives.”
The organisation has a dedicated team of skilled advisors who work with residents to help the find training, work experience, volunteering opportunities and jobs, with tailored approaches to suit each customer.
